In the past couple weeks or so, I’ve been working on some music videos with Remi for artiste Phalla C. The first promo we shot for him was for a song called ‘State of Mind’ Reminded me of the story-telling aspects youd find in 90’s rap like from Nas. No hook. Just straight bars.
That shoot was fun. But hot studio. Lack of ventilation and multiple smoke sources didn’t help. Vids being editted as we speak and may need to do some title sequences.
Oh and the second vid, Cry, we shot in a studio, had to get the set constructed, projector, paint, nails, all that jazz. Few problems arose, but that’s the thing when you pack a room full of resourceful people, ‘problems’ become small and easily fixed.
And when I came home after the set, the Optical Flares plugin I ordered for AE arrived great stuff.
